A holiday shoot in the rocky mountains

Friends, is there really anything better than the holiday season? Especially if it includes, snow, pretty florals and a Saint Bernard! As the building get SO CLOSE to completion we decided a little holiday-themed styled shoot was in order at Vista View Events. Originally, we had planned a full on styled shoot with our sweet new friends at Annelise Bridal and Stonewood Vintage.

Unfortunately the weather did not corporate with us that week and our models were stranded in Northern Colorado and we couldn't get to Grand Junction to pick anything up! In the moment I was so bummed that our plans had to change in the 11th hour BUT like most things in life, it turned out just fine. We had so much fun with Sammy (the Saint Bernard) and just seeing the venue kind of come to life is exciting after working on this project for almost a year.

I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Afton Neal from Annelise Bridal for being so sweet and flexible to a total stranger (me!) and to Shiara from Stonewood Vintage for letting me text her at the last minute even as she was arriving home from the airport! You can't make this stuff up, I already love these ladies and can't wait to work together soon!
